Star Performances from Kansas City Chiefs – No. 4: Frank Clark

This season hasn’t gone according to plan for Frank Clark, but he had a nice game on Sunday. Clark finished the afternoon with two total tackles, one sack, and three quarterback hits and it was good to finally see him disrupting the opposition.

Clark’s biggest play came in the final minute of the game when the Falcons were driving to either take the lead or tie the game. On 2nd and 5, Ryan dropped back to pass and Clark hit him, knocking the ball out. At the time, it looked like the game-sealing play but it was ruled an incomplete pass. Still, Clark got in there and made a play and that’s what counts.

Star Performances from Kansas City Chiefs – No. 3: L’Jarius Sneed

L’Jarius Sneed received the top spot on last week’s list and while he didn’t get that honor this week, the fourth-round rookie is still playing very good football. Sneed finished this game with seven total tackles (one for loss) while hitting the quarterback twice and even sacking Matt Ryan.

The play of the game for Sneed was definitely the sack he had on Ryan, which came deep in Falcons territory. It backed Atlanta up and gave the Chiefs good field position for their next offensive possession.
