4. Tyrann Mathieu

The Honey Badger is on the loose! In his past three games, Tyrann Mathieu has four interceptions, after adding another one in this game. The Dolphins weren’t close to scoring at the time, but Mathieu’s pick set the Chiefs up in Dolphins’ territory and they went on to score a touchdown, going up 14-10.

Mathieu now has the honor of being the first player to pick off Tua Tagovailoa in the NFL. The Chiefs turned the ball over four times in this game and were fortunate that Miami didn’t always take advantage. The one time the Fins turned it over, KC made them pay, and Mathieu deserves the props for putting them in that position.

3. Clyde Edwards-Helaire

After missing last week’s game due to illness, Clyde Edwards-Helaire made sure to make the most of his start against the Dolphins. Edwards-Helaire might not have wowed running the ball despite carrying it 16 times for 32 yards, but he made a difference in the receiving game.

Edwards-Helaire caught five passes for 59 yards and finished the day with 91 total yards. This is what the Chiefs wanted to see from CEH when they made him their first-round pick this year and while the hope was that he’d be a game-changer in the ground game, that’s not entirely Edwards-Helaire’s fault, as the offensive line hasn’t been doing their part in that department either.
