Patrick Mahomes is human

Continuing on from the last entry, while we can all talk about how great Patrick Mahomes has been over the past few years and still is now, he proved against the Dolphins that despite all his greatness and big plays, he is still capable of throwing interceptions and making mistakes.

Mahomes went 24-of-34 for 393 yards also coming away with two touchdowns but it wasn’t all perfect for No. 15, as he threw two interceptions early in the first quarter followed by a deep one in the third quarter. It would be easy to criticize Mahomes and to wonder if this could be a beginning to his downfall but he still came away with 393 yards to his name.

This game proved that Mahomes is still human but he doesn’t let anything negative affect his mentality and carries on playing how he usually would. This was just a blip for Mahomes, better for it to happen now than when it matters in a few weeks when the Chiefs play in the playoffs.

It was funny seeing people say that Patrick Mahomes was playing poorly on social media because the guy threw for nearly 400 yards against a good defense, but that’s what Chiefs fans have come to expect. They EXPECT this guy to throw for an insane amount of yards even in bad games.
