Bashaud Breeland
Bashaud Breeland has been a nice bargain the past two years, each time signing a one-year “prove it” deal. He proved it last year but no one signed him so he came back to Kansas City where he’s playing at a high level once again.
Breeland makes this list because he picked off Tom Brady last week and has been playing quite well recently. Drew Lock has thrown an interception in his last six starts, including two against the Chiefs in Week 7 (Tyrann Mathieu and Daniel Sorensen had those two picks).
The last time we saw Lock, he played well against the Dolphins but the week prior threw four interceptions against the Raiders. Which version of Lock will the Chiefs get this week? Also, what version of the Chiefs defense will we see? Breeland hopefully is someone who steps up and makes a big play against Lock and the Broncos offense on Sunday night.
