The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Denver Broncos in a Week 13 matchup at Arrowhead Stadium.

The 10-1 Kansas City Chiefs are looking to sweep the 4-7 Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Chiefs dominated the last matchup in Week 7 by a score of 43-16. A win on Sunday would pretty much solidify another year of KC being atop the AFC West. It would also help them keep pace with the still perfect Pittsburgh Steelers for the No. 1 seed.

Denver has been having another struggling season. They have not had a winning season since 2015 when they ended up winning the Super Bowl, and a loss to KC would ensure they didn’t have another winning season this year. The Broncos are coming off a loss to the Saints where they had no real quarterback. Luckily for them, they will have Drew Lock back for this game.

Divisional games are always unpredictable. These are four things the Chiefs and you need to look out for in week 13.

Five Years of Success

Chiefs Kingdom hasn’t experienced a loss to the Broncos since Sept.17, 2015. This is half a decade of dominance against our divisional opponent and the past three games haven’t even been close. The Chiefs have won by double digits each game, which is not really a surprise with Patrick Mahomes as the quarterback.

On the flip side, Drew Lock has yet to throw a touchdown against the Chiefs. The last Broncos quarterback to throw a touchdown against KC’s defense was Case Keenum in 2018, which shows it has been a team dominance and not just Mahomes being Mahomes.

The Broncos haven’t been able to figure out how to compete with the Chiefs and it makes it hard to believe we will see anything different on Sunday.
