The Chargers make a lot of sense for Eric Bieniemy for a lot of reasons and could be a match in 2021.

This is not an ideal fit for the Chiefs in 2021, but the Los Angeles Chargers are the best fit and landing spot for the soon-to-be head coach. With a knowledge of the division and an understanding, albeit limited knowledge of the Chargers roster, Bienemy would walk into a situation with a good roster and a young quarterback, a team armed with a draft pick likely in the top 10 of the 2021 draft and cap room to fill out the roster.

Also, and despite the large market, the Chargers are shadowed by the Rams and Lakers, allowing him an opportunity to learn how to be a head coach before the glare and spotlight of the big town creep in.

If not Los Angeles, Jacksonville would make the most sense, as it’d be a new beginning of sort for the entire organization with a new coach, new GM, new quarterback. He could go into a situation crafting and retooling a roster and organization to a  degree to his liking. He would have far more influence and control with Jacksonville than perhaps anywhere else.
