Tyreek Hill has been playing out of his mind in the KC Chiefs’ last four games and his latest game was his craziest one yet.

Kansas City Chiefs fans are used to seeing Tyreek Hill put up absolutely freakish numbers, as he’s been doing so since his rookie season. With how good Hill has been in the past, his numbers weren’t necessarily up to his standards to start the 2020 regular-season. It took Hill until Week 9 to go for over 100 yards (though he did come very close in two games prior to then) and didn’t have multiple touchdowns in a game until Week 9.

Hill might have had a slower start than normal this season, but his past four games have been wild and have shown that he’s still the same All-Pro player we’ve watched since 2016. During those four games, he’s totaled 37 receptions for 582 yards and eight touchdowns. Here’s how each game went for Hill:

  • Week 8 vs Jets – 4 receptions for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns
  • Week 9 vs Panthers – 9 receptions for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns
  • Week 11 vs Raiders – 11 receptions for 102 yards and 1 touchdown
  • Week 12 vs Buccaneers – 13 receptions for 269 yards and 3 touchdowns

Obviously, the Buccaneers game was not only a season highlight for Hill but a career highlight for him as well. The other three games were also big-time games for the former fifth-round pick, but Travis Kelce took away some of the spotlight from him in those games. He was shining the brightest when the dust settled in Tampa Bay.

It was only a matter of time before Tyreek Hill started putting up insane numbers again for the KC Chiefs.

Hill truly has been a cheat code recently, especially in the win over the Buccaneers where he had over 200 yards receiving in the first quarter alone. While the Bucs figured out ways to slow him down after the first quarter, his totals from that game were still eye-popping, as he went for 269 yards and three touchdowns.

While teams are going to figure out ways to take Hill away so that Patrick Mahomes has to throw the ball elsewhere, that’ll open things up for Kelce, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Sammy Watkins, and Mecole Hardman to hopefully make plays and be the stars of the offense. The last four defenses that have tried to slow Hill down haven’t done a great job, but the playoffs will be a whole different ball game.

It’s great to see Tyreek Hill heating up and hopefully, this is only the beginning of his insane video game-like numbers this season.
