The Kansas City Chiefs took down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 27-24 and moved to 10-1 on the year. Who shone the brightest?

What looked like a game that had the makings of a blowout after the first quarter ended up being a three-point win for the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite a 17-0 start, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers climbed back into it and outscored the Chiefs 24-10 after that hot start by the Chiefs.

While it was a closer win than Chiefs Kingdom expected, a win is a win. The Chiefs move to 10-1 and have won double-digit games for the seventh time in eight years. They’ll more than likely be winning their fifth straight division title too, as the other three teams lost on Sunday.

Let’s take a look at the six Chiefs who had stellar performances in the 27-24 victory.

5/6. Alex Okafor and Mike Danna

I’m putting these guys on the same entry because they both did their part, notching the only sack of the day. The Chiefs pass rush has been really bad recently, not generating any pressure on Derek Carr last week and only getting home to Tom Brady once, which was courtesy of Alex Okafor and Mike Danna.

Both guys also had three tackles apiece and shared the sack on Brady, as we’ve already mentioned. With Frank Clark and Chris Jones doing next to nothing in this matchup, it was nice to see Okafor and Danna step up and get everyone Big Macs.
