The Kansas City Chiefs head to Florida this Sunday for a date with the new-look Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 9-1 Kansas City Chiefs are on the road again, heading to Tampa Bay to face the 7-4 Buccaneers. The Chiefs haven’t faced Tampa since 2016 and they haven’t beaten them since 1993. They are not only looking to jump to 10-1 but to break the bad streak against their NFC South opponent.

Tampa Bay has been a rollercoaster in the 2020 season. This is a team that lost 38-3 against the Saints but beat the Packers by 28 points. Although coming off a loss to the Rams and showing a fair share of problems in the process, this will be a tough game for the Chiefs.

It is always a fun matchup with two winning teams going head-to-head. Let’s see what the Chiefs should look out for this Sunday.

Healthy Chiefs Secondary vs Bucs Receivers

The Chiefs’ backfield has been riddled with injuries this season. Cornerbacks have taken the brunt of the damage with Bashaud Breeland being suspended, Charvarius Ward’s injured hand, and the rookie L’Jarius Sneed being injured as well. These guys are back and ready to face Tampa’s killer receivers.

Tampa Bay, much like the Chiefs, have weapons everywhere on offense. You have Tom Brady at quarterback with Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette at running back. Then Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, and Scotty Miller all catching passes.

Even with the Bucs offenses’ inconsistency, Tampa has the playmakers necessary to be an issue for any team. The backfield will need to keep these playmakers in check to help Mahomes outscore Brady.
