Butker’s blunders

Harrison Butker is a great kicker when it comes to field goals. In that department, he’s 15 of 17 with a field goal percentage of 88.2%. So, why is Butker included on here then with blunders next to his name if he’s such a good kicker?

Well, as good as Butker’s been in field goals, he’s been that bad in extra point attempts. He’s currently 27 of 33, missing six extra points. That’s a whole touchdown worth of missed extra points by Butker and this is something that can’t continue to happen.

The reason the game against Carolina was only a two point victory was because of Butker’s missed extra point (as well as a missed field goal). If Joey Slye boots through that 67 yarder, not all of the blame would go Butker’s way, but some of it certainly would.

Hopefully Butker takes the bye week to practice point after attempts because wouldn’t it suck to lose the Super Bowl or be eliminated from the playoffs because of a missed extra point?
