A+. . . . GENERAL MANAGEMENT

This is an extra category that I thought to add as an after thought, even though it is crucially important. It is general management that makes decisions regarding player personal such as draft picks, backups, free agents, etc. and Brett Veach has done a phenomenal job of this and always does.

If you think about the drafting of Edwards-Helaire, the amazing pickup of undrafted free agent Tershawn Wharton, or the fact that the offensive line is still playing so well even though it is a patch work quilt of starters and backups, then you have Veach to thank for that.

For these crucial additions to a successful Chiefs team, I give general management the highest mark yet.

I am no high school teacher, but all and all I would say that all averages out to about an A. The Kansas City Chiefs are a very good team, even on the cusp of being elite, and that is an entirely obtainable goal for this Chiefs team. That just need to shore a few things up, work on the missed passes and the dropped passes, shore up the tackling and stuffing the run and for God’s sake please don’t miss more extra points.

This Chiefs team can go all the way, and be the first team since the 2003-2004 Patriots to go to back-to-back Super Bowls. If they just use the bye week to patch up a few weaknesses, get some injured players back, and return next week to finish strong, a repeat Super Bowl title should happen for the defending champs.
