Does Joey Slye have the best beard among all NFL kickers?

Dean: Not just kickers, the entire NFL.

Rookie safety Jeremy Chinn is having an excellent season so far. What are your thoughts on the young man out of Southern Illinois?

Dean: In a word, outstanding. Considering Chinn hadn’t played a down at outside linebacker before this season, he’s been absolutely sensational.

For him to be carrying the likes of Shaq Thompson and Tahir Whitehead at this stage of his development when it should be the other way around is remarkable and it won’t be long before he is considered a real defensive star in the NFL.

Outside of McCaffrey, who’s one Carolina offensive player Chiefs fans should keep an eye out for this weekend?

Dean: Robby Anderson is the obvious pick, and with good reason. The wide receiver has taken his game to new heights since freeing himself from the Jets and his chemistry with Bridgewater was evident from the moment he stepped on the field.

Anderson might be considered as a deep threat to those on the outside looking in, but he is making plays all over the field for the Panthers.

And outside of Chinn, who should Chiefs fans worry about on Carolina’s defense?

Dean: Brian Burns. The defensive end is another who’s developed during the offseason and although he only has three sacks, he has evolved into a well-rounded player on the edge who can make the difference on a three-down basis.

His explosiveness off the block is a sight to behold, so the Chiefs’ tackles are going to have their hands full.

Lastly, how do you see the Chiefs-Panthers game playing out? Who wins and by what score?

Dean: The Panthers need to control the clock early to stay in the game. There isn’t much anyone can do from stopping the Chiefs offensively, so the best way to counteract this would be to keep them off the field for as long as possible.

Kansas City just has too much firepower and I can’t see an upset.

Score: Chiefs 35 Panthers 20.
