Who should Kansas City Chiefs fans be keeping an eye on in Week 8 against the Jets?

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to beat up on the winless New York Jets, this should still be a game that the Chiefs take seriously. The Jets aren’t any good, but even the worst teams get thrown a bone from time to time and the Chiefs need to make sure that doesn’t happen on Sunday afternoon.

The Chiefs are easily the better team on paper and on the field, but the Jets do have some talented players on their roster, especially with this game taking place before the trade deadline. New York hasn’t played a ton of close games this season, so if the Chiefs can get off to a commanding lead early on, that very well could be all she wrote. The Jets aren’t really a team built to come from behind.

Hopefully Kansas City takes this game seriously and doesn’t treat it in the same way they treated  the Chargers and Raiders games. Hopefully that loss to the Raiders taught KC a valuable lesson about taking every opponent seriously and not assuming a win is imminent.

If the Chiefs want to steamroll the 0-7 Jets, these four players need to have good games for the defending Super Bowl champs.
