The Kansas City Chiefs would frighten opponents to their core if they made these trades.
The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday and while the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t made any trades yet, surely they’ll decide to in the coming days. With it being spooky season, let’s take a look at five players who could make the Chiefs downright horrifying.
5. David Njoku
For those of you who frequently read my articles, you’ll know that I’ve been pounding the drum for the Chiefs to find a reliable tight end behind Travis Kelce. They haven’t provided him with a viable backup since early on in his career and while I get it isn’t a necessity, it’d still be nice to have in case something were to happen to Kelce (knock on wood).
David Njoku of the Browns is one of the best options on the trade block and he’s been expressing his desire to be traded ever since Cleveland signed Austin Hooper this past offseason. Njoku has seven catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns so far for the Browns and the Chiefs would love to have that kind of production out of their backup tight end.
Trading for Njoku would give Kansas City a lethal tight end on the other side of Kelce and that would be very frightening for opposing defenses. There’d be no stopping the duo of Kelce and Njoku.
