Start of the Week: Pick a QB

This week is going to be great for fantasy quarterbacks. Usually, a guy like Matt Ryan is not available to pick up, but because of multiple lackluster weeks this year, there is a chance you can scoop him up and play him in this tasty matchup. Teddy Bridgewater is a guy that I see on waiver wires everywhere, but he needs to be played this week. Last time these two teams met, Teddy B went for over 300 yards and two touchdowns.

Ryan may seem a little scarier of a start here, considering that he only had seven fantasy points against the Panthers a few weeks ago, but that very well could be because Julio Jones missed the game. Since that game, Ryan has scored 50 fantasy points over two games, and he should be able to continue that upward trend now that he has a full array of weapons to throw too.

Bridgewater may also be getting a weapon back in the form of Christian McCaffrey. It is not certain that he plays, but if he does, he is the kind of player that can take a screen pass 80 yards to the house, which obviously get credited to Bridgewater as well.

Even if McCaffrey doesn’t play, the match-up is too good. Atlanta is giving up the most points to quarterbacks in fantasy at around 28 a game, so you should be basically always start a quarterback against Atlanta.
