The Kansas City Chiefs easily moved to 5-1 with a win over the Denver Broncos in Week 7.

The Kansas City Chiefs put in a stellar performance on Sunday over the Denver Broncos as they ran home 43-17 winners to make it ten straight wins over their divisional rival.

Here we take a look at three star performances from Sunday’s win…

Byron Pringle

The wide receiver was given a chance to impress this week getting more reps on special teams rather than Mecole Hardman and he took his chance superbly.  Pringle returned the ball for 102 yards as he found the gaps and exploded home.

Pringle was not only fantastic on the return but he also picked up a Tommy Townshend punt to put the Broncos right back onto their own one-yard line.

The receiver was fantastic for the Chiefs and was a real catalyst for them bringing home an easy win in Denver and he will be looking to build on this performance and hoping to get more reps when the Chiefs host the New York Jets next week.

Daniel Sorensen

The Chiefs’ defense has been hit and miss this season but one player who has been constantly good is Daniel Sorensen. The safety probably doesn’t get as much recognition as he should but he always performs.

Against the Broncos, Sorensen had one takeaway which he turned into a touchdown, he read the eyes of Drew Lock and picked him off and housed it. Sorensen’s coverage all game was second-to-none, giving Lock nothing easy downfield.

The free safety has been nothing short of immaculate for the Chiefs and they would be a lot worst off this season without him and his leadership qualities as well as his tough tackling nature.

Chris Jones

The big defensive tackle was at his usual best on Sunday as he got constant pressure to the Broncos quarterback, leaving him scrambling to try and get passes off. Jones signed a new deal with the Chiefs in the summer and it’s not hard to see why they were desperate to keep the defensive tackle on board.

Jones pressure paid off against the Broncos as he managed to get himself a big sack on Lock as he burst through the middle of the offensive line to hit Lock hard and direct. As well as the sack Jones had he also picked up two other solo tackles.

This week was a huge defensive and special teams performance from the Chiefs and this has shown with the star performances picks.

Next. Three things we learned in Week 7 vs. Denver. dark

If the Kansas City Chiefs performed like this constantly on defensive and special teams then they could well and truly go unbeaten for the rest of the season and could be seeing themselves bring home another Superbowl.
