The defense locked up

The defense has been hit and miss so far through the season but against the Broncos the defense locked up. Chiefs defense held the Broncos to just the two touchdowns but their performance, especially on third downs was second-to-none.

The Broncos were only able to convert 5-14 on third down and 0-2 on fourth downs, showing how well the Chiefs turned up defensively when it mattered most. As well as the locking up on third and fourth down, the Chiefs also came away with two interceptions, one leading to a pick-six and also two fumble recoveries.

The Chiefs defense has struggled in some weeks to stop teams, especially when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders in week five but numerous players had a standout game such as Daniel Sorensen, Tyrann Mathieu and Chris Jones.
