Mike Remmers
Mitchell Schwartz is on track to miss the first NFL start of his nine-year career and that means Mike Remmers will get the start at right tackle. Remmers held his own against the Bills on Monday, but the Broncos have a lot more to offer defensively and could most definitely make it a long day for Remmers.
Great sign: Every #Chiefs offensive lineman with 10+ snaps played on Monday had a 70+ Overall grade in the game.

• Eric Fisher: 74.0
• Nick Allegretti: 73.7
• Andrew Wylie: 71.9
• Mike Remmers: 71.4
• Daniel Kilgore: 71.0#ChiefsKingdom
This section could also include the other new faces along the offensive line, but I’m focusing on Remmers because of how important that right tackle spot is. Schwartz had been a nice staple along the line, but he hadn’t looked himself this year and it’s very possible that his back has been bothering more than he or the Chiefs had let on.
Also keep an eye on Nick Allegretti and Daniel Kilgore, as they both had terrific performances against Buffalo and it’d be nice to see encore performances from both guys.
Juan Thornhill
The reason Juan Thornhill gets the spotlight on him this week is because he had a good game against the Broncos the last time around. Now it’s worth noting that the last time he faced them he hadn’t suffered his injury yet and it was a freaking snow globe in Arrowhead Stadium, so passing the ball was going to be more difficult for Drew Lock and company.
Even still, Thornhill took advantage of the weather and Lock’s worst start to that point of his career, picking off the rookie and helping the Chiefs roll against their division rival. Will Thornhill be able to get a pick off of Lock again?
