The Kansas City Chiefs need these five players to step it up when they face the Bills in Week 6.

After suffering their first loss of the 2020 season, the Kansas City Chiefs will be in desperation mode this Monday afternoon when they face the Buffalo Bills, who are also coming off of their first loss of the season. The Chiefs had a rough go of it in Week 5 and didn’t seem interested in playing the Raiders at all. It looked the same way for the Bills, but at least in their case, they were game planning for two different teams.

These Chiefs need to up the ante when the team heads to Orchard Park for a date with the Bills. Let’s get to it.

5. Charvarius Ward

Charvarius Ward has been a nice story, going from an undrafted free agent to a talented cornerback who helped his team win the Super Bowl last year. Unfortunately it hasn’t been a great start for Ward in 2020, as he injured his hand in Week 1 and got absolutely roasted by Henry Ruggs and the Raiders this past week.

Ward is still talented and having Bashaud Breeland back for now his second week of action should help the cornerback unit play better. Everyone is allowed to have a bad day at the office, but hopefully that doesn’t become a habit for Ward because this team needs him to find that 2019 version of himself.
