5. Rashad Fenton

Rashad Fenton makes this list because he had the game-sealing interception. It was the third interception of the evening for Kansas City’s defense and showed that they can force takeaways against even the best coached team in the NFL.

Fenton was blossomed into a truly special player for Kansas City and that’s not something many of us predicted would be the case when he was taken in the sixth round in 2019. He showed flashes of potential as a rookie and has followed that up in a big way by stepping in when the rest of the cornerback depth chart was depleted due to injuries.

Fenton most definitely deserves a round of applause for not only his performance on Monday, but for how well he’s played since joining this team last year.

4. Juan Thornhill

Juan Thornhill recorded the first interception of the evening and gave Chiefs fans flashbacks of the 2015 Wild Card game where they picked Brian Hoyer off four times in a 30-0 route of the Texans. Thornhill getting injured at the end of the regular season last year was devastating, but it’s been good to see the second rounder bounce back and have the kind of season he’s having so far.

Thornhill finished Monday night’s game with six tackles, one defended pass, and that pick off of Hoyer. He’s been a nice player and should be a key part of this defense moving forward.
