The KC Chiefs host the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon and hope to move to 4-0 on the young season.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs welcome in the previous season’s Super Bowl champion New England Patriots for what should be a fun game at Arrowhead Stadium. It’s a rematch of the 2018 AFC Championship Game, but the Patriots look different this time around.

Brady is no more in New England and Cam Newton has taken over the signal caller duties for the Patriots. So far, he’s looked pretty good, as has the rest of the team. Heck, they’re a goal line stop short of being undefeated three weeks into the season. This game could have been a battle between the 3-0 squads, but Newton was stopped by Seattle on the final drive two weeks ago.

Again, this should be a fun match-up and I’m really looking forward to it! Let’s check out some storylines heading into this one.

Which offensive line shows up?

It’s been a tale of two seasons for the Chiefs offensive line, but fortunately they’re coming off of their best game of the season. Week 1 was a decent outing, but they did allow a sack on Patrick Mahomes. Week 2 was a terrible showing by the o-line and Mitchell Schwartz of all people struggled to protect Mahomes.

This past week, no sacks were allowed by the Chiefs o-line and Mahomes was hit just four times throughout the game. It was a nice bounce back game for the offensive line, but now we’re left wondering who this o-line is.

Are they going to remain the dominant line we saw in Week 3 against one of the toughest defenses on the schedule or will they get owned again like they did in Week 2? Hopefully it’s the former and Mahomes is kept upright for the entire game. That’s when these Chiefs are at their best.
