The Kansas City Chiefs return home to face the New England Patriots. Who should fans be keeping an eye on?

The 3-0 defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hope to move to 4-0 this weekend when they host the 2-1 New England Patriots. This might be a different looking Patriots team, but they’re still coached by Bill Belichick and so far it’s been evident that they haven’t skipped much of a beat without Tom Brady at the helm.

Who should Chiefs fans be keeping an eye on this week?

Rashad Fenton

With L’Jarius Sneed landing on injured reserve after breaking his collarbone against the Ravens, the Chiefs once again find themselves in a hole at cornerback. Charvarius Ward played 59% of the snaps last week, even with a broken hand, but now with Sneed out the Chiefs will continue to rely on Rashad Fenton against the Patriots.

Antonio Hamilton is also someone Chiefs fans should watch for this weekend, but with Fenton getting 96% of the defensive snaps in Week 3, he’ll be the CB2 (or even CB1 depending on how healthy Ward is). He played well last week too and has been a nice surprise as a sixth round pick in 2019.

Bashaud Breeland only has one more game left on his suspension and the Chiefs will be elated to get him back after this week. They need him desperately.
