Sit of the Week: Everyone, I guess?

Listen, I usually do not try to take the easy way out. I know this seems like a cop out, but I am being totally serious. There are two offensive players players I am comfortable having in my lineups this week: Melvin Gordon and Noah Fant. That is where the list ends. The worst part about it is that I am not even comfortable with those two, just comfortable enough to take the risk.

The Jets defense is probably worse than its offense, which is why Gordon and Fant are viable here. Their volume should be safe. I would not be shocked to watch this entire game and there not have been a single touchdown scored between both teams. That is how bad that this match-up can be.

The best possible thing to do is find other options. Don’t start Braxton Berrios or Chris Herndon or Sam Darnold or KJ Hamler. Go check your waiver wire. Pick up Jeff Wilson from the 49ers or Gardnew Minshew from the Jaguars or Justin Jefferson from the Vikings.

Do not try to get cute and think that you can steal some points in this one. It is more likely for you to score zero from other players in this game than it is for them to hit and make you look smart. Stay away from this game.
