The KC Chiefs hit the road for the first time in 2020 and they’ll do so against the Los Angeles Chargers who are playing in their new stadium for the first time.

Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are 1-0 after 1 week of action in the NFL and now 1 team will look to move to 2-0 while the other will sit at 1-1.

What are 5 things to keep an eye on this weekend as the Chiefs play in the Chargers’ new stadium (well, the Rams’ actually)? Let’s take a looky loo.

1. Keenan Allen vs Chiefs secondary

The Madden simulation for this game predicted that Keenan Allen would finish this match-up with 0 receptions, but that doesn’t seem likely at all. In fact, Allen is likely going to flourish in this one, as the Chiefs will be without their top cornerback Charvarius Ward due to a broken hand.

They’re already without Bashaud Breeland for another 3 games due to suspension, so now it’s possible that rookie fourth round pick L’Jarius Sneed will be the top cornerback when the Chiefs and Chargers square off on Sunday.

While Sneed played well in his NFL debut, teams are going to get more film on him and figure out ways to expose him. It also looked like the Texans backed off from throwing the ball deep for whatever reason, which obviously benefitted Kansas City in their season opener.

The Chargers don’t have as good of a quarterback as Houston does, but they’ll definitely try to make plays against Sneed and whoever is in that second slot across from him. Keenan Allen is going to be the obvious target time and time again.
