Week 15 – Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints (Leigh)

By the time week 15 rolls around, the Chiefs are hoping they’re one step ahead of the Baltimore Ravens, as now only one team gets a first round bye due to the expanded playoffs. The Chiefs face their last true test in week 15 when they head to the Big Easy to play the Saints.

In 2018, these two teams were the frontrunners to be facing off in the Super Bowl against each other, but oddly enough, neither team made it. We’ll finally get that match-up now, albeit in the regular season, but it should be a fun one.

While the Chiefs are the best team in the entire league, the Saints are very good as well and they get to be the home team for this one. There might not be any fans in the stands, which could definitely help Kansas City, but if there are fans in New Orleans for this one, it could be a rough go of it for the Super Bowl champs.

This could end up being the game of the season in the NFL, but unfortunately, the Chiefs are going to be on the losing end of it.

Prediction: This will be an offensive shootout in the Superdome, but the Saints will win it at the buzzer with a late field goal through the uprights. The final score will be 45-42, Saints.

Player to Pop: Defense is optional in this game, so let’s turn to the offensive side of the ball where Demarcus Robinson of all people is the star receiver, hauling in four catches for over 100 yards and two trips into the end zone.

RECORD: 10-4
