13. Carolina Panthers

New head coach. New offensive coordinator. New defensive coordinator. New starting quarterback.

While the Panthers will struggle in 2020, they should at least be interesting. Teddy Bridgewater gets another shot at a starting job while former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule takes over in Charlotte. Interestingly, Rhule, who also coached Temple, has never won more than two games during his first year with a team.

That may not change in 2020.

12. New York Jets

Death, taxes, and the Jets being a mess. Sam Darnold doesn’t look like the answer through his first two seasons, and head coach Adam Gase’s seat seems to be sizzling.

Expect double digit losses for Gang Green in 2020 giving them a shot at Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields in next April’s draft.

11. Miami Dolphins

Love what the Dolphins are doing. Brian Flores is a heck of a head coach, and he’s got this team heading in the right direction.

But Miami will experience yet another year of growing pains in 2020. It will be fun when the Chiefs play them, though, to get a glimpse of former Alabama quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, whom the Fins drafted with the No. 5 pick last season. The southpaw can be electric when he’s fully healthy.

Is that this year? And if it is, how much will it matter?
