Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Target – Number 1: Michael Thomas

player. 15. . Wide Receiver. New Orleans Saints. Michael Thomas. 1

Michael Thomas gets a lot of flack for only running short routes, but the dude is a reception magnet and there’s no denying that. He finished with 45 more receptions than the next closest receiver last season on his way to setting the single season reception record.

Because of most fantasy leagues moving to PPR scoring, if Thomas stays healthy, there really isn’t much of a question as to who is finishing first in the wide receiver rankings.

Thomas was absolutely dominant last season and was able to win fantasy owners games all by himself. He might not put up quite as impressive numbers this year, but he’s going to be a force to be reckoned with for sure.

Nailing the wide receiver position is key to having a successful fantasy football season. You’re going to draft quite a few more guys than what we have ranked here, but hopefully this list can help you get off to a good start at the position.

What do you guys think? Who is too high or who are we sleeping on?
