Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Target – Number 5: Julio Jones

Wide Receiver. Atlanta Falcons. Julio Jones. 5. player. 44.

Julio Jones has consistently been one of the top wide receivers in the league for years now and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. He finished as WR3 last year and could very well do it again this season.

As mentioned, these guys are so close together it’s hard to go wrong with any of them. Calvin Ridley’s continued improvement will slowly eat into Jones’ targets each year, so that, along with a couple of guys returning to health, is the reason he drops a couple of spots in the rankings.

Jones is always a threat to make a big play for the Falcons, but the one knock on him is that he doesn’t find the end zone as much as these other guys do. That’s obviously big in fantasy football, so passing on Jones for that reason wouldn’t be a crazy thought.

Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Target – Number 4: Tyreek Hill

. Wide Receiver. Kansas City Chiefs. Tyreek Hill. 4. player. 124

Tyreek Hill, or the Cheetah as he is also called, is a huge mismatch because of his game changing speed. He is the fastest player in the league and this speed in combination with the best quarterback in football makes him a danger to score from anywhere on the field.

If he can stay healthy this season, even with the healthy target competition in Kansas City, there should be no doubt that he finishes in the top five.

Hill has the ability to take over games and while he missed a few games last year due to injury, he’s one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets in Kansas City and that isn’t expected to change for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
