Kansas City Chiefs: Five toughest running backs on 2020 schedule
Toughest Running Backs in 2020 – Number 3: Alvin Kamara
We just discussed Ingram and how good he was in Baltimore last year. The reason he was in Baltimore is because Alvin Kamara was so good in his first two years that the Saints could afford to lose their former 2011 first rounder.
Kamara does a little bit of everything for the Saints and that’s why he’s such a scary weapon for them to have. He and his Saints will face the Chiefs in the SuperDome in week 15 in what’s sure to be an offensive shootout in the Big Easy.
As good as Kamara has been throughout the course of his career, he’s yet to surpass that 1,000 yard mark in New Orleans, which is surprising. Part of why is likely because he has yet to play a full 16-game regular season due to injuries.
Kamara had 171 carries for 797 yards and five touchdowns last year while catching 81 balls for 533 yards and a touchdown. Kamara’s ability to be used in both the running and receiving game is what makes him deadly and the Chiefs are going to need to game plan around him big time. Otherwise, he’ll wreck them in week 15.
