Ranking Every Quarterback in 2020 – Number 8: Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater. 8. player. 87. . Quarterback. Carolina Panthers

Teddy Bridgewater was looking like he was his way to being forgotten about after a gruesome injury forced Minnesota to move on from him. Bridgewater eventually landed in New Orleans and this past season stepped in for Drew Brees and went 5-0 during that time.

Bridgewater’s dominance for the Saints in a time of need got him a lot of buzz on the free agent market and he was signed to a three-year deal with the Panthers, who are in the midst of a rebuild. Bridgewater should make Carolina a little more competitive, especially considering they also have Christian McCaffrey on offense.

I ranked Bridgewater right in the middle of the pack because he’s such an unknown honestly. Yes, he did well with the Saints in those five games, but New Orleans had plenty of talent surrounding him while Carolina won’t (aside from McCaffrey).

The Chiefs and Panthers square off in week nine and the game will take place at Arrowhead.
