Ranking Every Quarterback in 2020 – Number 11: Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick. 11. player. 59. . Quarterback. Miami Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick is an interesting case because he has the ability to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league (not even kidding, remember his start to the 2018 season with the Bucs?) or the worst in the league (what he did after that electric start with the Bucs).

Fitzpatrick is a favorite amongst Chiefs Kingdom, as he helped lead the way when the Dolphins took down the Patriots in the final game of the 2019 season. That got the Chiefs the two seed and the rest was history.

Fitzpatrick wasn’t even supposed to be the starter in Miami last year, but he played well enough to keep the job and will try to do the same against rookie Tua Tagovailoa.

If Tua was going to Miami’s starter, he’d probably be the lowest on these rankings due to the unknown and his recent surgery. The Chiefs play Miami late in the year – week 14 to be exact – so it’s possible Tua is the starter by then, but since Fitzpatrick is looking to be the starter at the beginning of the year, he’s the one I included here.
