Ranking Every Quarterback in 2020 – Number 2: Drew Brees

Quarterback. New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees. 2. player. 15.

Even at the ripe old age of 41, Drew Brees is still playing as well as he was when he first made the move to New Orleans in 2006. He missed five games in 2019, but still threw for 27 touchdowns and just four interceptions while barely missing out on 3,000 yards (his lowest total since 2003 when he was with the Chargers).

Brees is still very much a big reason why the New Orleans Saints have been a Super Bowl contender the past three seasons and that’ll continue in 2020. The Chiefs and Saints are often looked at as a similar team as they both have an explosive offense and defenses that have grown significantly in recent years.

Brees gets the Chiefs in the SuperDome in week 15 and that’s going to be a really tough game for Kansas City. Not only do they have to square off against a future Hall of Famer, but they’ll have to travel to the Big Easy and play in one of the toughest stadiums in all of sports.

Some might say Drew Brees doesn’t deserve to be this high on the list, but he’s shown he’s still a baller and he’ll definitely put up some points on the Chiefs defense in week 15.
