The Kansas City Chiefs have some tough quarterbacks on their 2020 schedule.

The Kansas City Chiefs are fortunate to have the best quarterback in the entire NFL, as Patrick Mahomes is likely the quarterback that teams list as the toughest quarterback on their 2020 schedule.

What about the Chiefs though? Which quarterbacks do they face in 2020 and how would they be ranked?

Well, the Chiefs face their usual AFC West foes (though the Chargers have a new face at the quarterback spot) along with the AFC East, NFC South, and the winners of the AFC North and AFC South. Who are these quarterbacks and where do they land on these rankings?

Let’s take a look.

Ranking Every Quarterback in 2020 – Number 13: Sam Darnold

player. 30. . Quarterback. New York Jets. Sam Darnold. 13

The Jets took Sam Darnold third overall in the 2018 NFL Draft and he’s slowly been showing signs of progression despite having some rough setbacks. In a Monday Night Football game against the Patriots last year, Darnold was caught saying that he was seeing ghosts while on the field, which made him the subject of criticism that week.

Darnold finished his second season in the league throwing for 3,024 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions with a 61.9 completion percentage. He was injured for three games, but definitely had his fair share of ups and downs when he was on the field quarterbacking the hapless Jets.

The Chiefs host the Jets in week eight of the 2020 season and Darnold is going to have a tough time against this Chiefs pass rush, especially if his offensive line fails to protect him. He was sacked 33 times last season and is definitely someone who can be rattled easily.

While Darnold can go on to have a promising career, he’s the worst quarterback on the Chiefs’ 2020 schedule.
