Fantasy Football Running Backs to Target – Number 13: Chris Carson

Running Back. Seattle Seahawks. Chris Carson. 13. player. 36.

Chris Carson is a guy who will probably be available later in your fantasy drafts and will absolutely outplay his draft position. Similar to what was mentioned with Matthew Stafford in the quarterback rankings, Carson isn’t a sexy pick, so he flies under the radar in drafts.

Seattle did add Carlos Hyde in the offseason, but I don’t expect this to be a running back by committee. Don’t forget that Hyde wasn’t even going to make Kansas City’s team last offseason before he was traded to Houston due to Lamar Miller‘s injury.

Carson will be too good to keep off the field too often. He was RB11 last season and is still being underrated this season. There are other guys that squeezed their way in front of him in these rankings, but I expect RB13 to be his floor in 2020.

Fantasy Football Running Backs to Target – Number 12: Kenyan Drake

Running Back. Arizona Cardinals. Kenyan Drake. 12. player. 32.

Kenyan Drake exploded last season after his move to Arizona. Over the last eight games of the season, Drake was RB4 as a Cardinal. He finished as RB16 overall despite starting in just 10 games and only playing in 14 total.

Drake definitely shocked the fantasy world last season and will have a similar role in an upward trending offense this season. He has all the upside in the world, but it doesn’t come without risk.

There is still the chance that Drake was a one-year (or eight-game) wonder last season, but if that was just his breakout and he can build off of the final eight games of last season, he has the potential to far exceed this rank.

This is definitely a little bit of a gamble pick, but it’s impossible to play fantasy football without risk, so Drake’s tremendous upside lands him at number 12 in the running back ranks.
