Most Underrated Kansas City Chiefs – Number 2: Alex Okafor

There might not be a defensive player on the KC Chiefs’ roster that gets overlooked more than Alex Okafor. The team brought Okafor in prior to the 2019 season and he played well up until his injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

Okafor had five sacks last year before that injury and he’ll be a nice depth piece to have on the defensive side of the ball in 2020. Throw in that the former Texas eonghorn recently restructured his contract and now he’ll be in a crucial contract year, meaning he’ll definitely be upping the ante for the Chiefse

Don’t count out Okafor to have a big year in 2020.

Most Underrated Kansas City Chiefs – Number 1: Ricky Seals-Jones

The most underrated player heading into the 2020 season is tight end Ricky Seals-Jones, who the team signed this offseason. Depth behind Travis Kelce has always been an issue with the Chiefs looking at guys like Demetrius Harris or Blake Bell to fill that role and not getting much production out of their backup tight end as a result.

Seals-Jones is a reliable backup tight end and should get his fair share of targets, especially in the red zone when defenders are focusing on covering Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and the other explosive weapons on the Chiefs offense.

Seals-Jones finished his 2019 campaign with four touchdowns for the Browns and if he can find the end zone four or five times for the Chiefs, that’d be a solid season for a backup tight end.

These eight Kansas City Chiefs are overlooked and underrated.

Now that you know who the underrated names are, you’ll know who to keep an eye on this season. Hopefully these players prove me right and are no longer underrated when the 2020 season finishes up!
