Toughest Defenses in 2020 – Number 2: Baltimore Ravens

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. AFC. North. Baltimore Ravens. 2. player. 26

Heading into the 2020 season, it appears to be the Chiefs and Ravens as the frontrunners for who will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. The Ravens defense wasn’t incredible or anything in 2019, but their offense certainly was.

That being said, Baltimore recognized they needed to add top tier talent on defense to help keep them in the contending category, so they went out and signed Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe, two huge names on that side of the ball.

The Ravens are 0-2 against Patrick Mahomes and they’ll finally get him in Baltimore this year. This is their opportunity to show they can slow him down and be considered the better team in the conference. The two square off in week three and it’s on Monday Night Football.

If the defense can be as good as the offense, the Baltimore Ravens are most certainly a Super Bowl contender.
