Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 7: Bears

. D/ST. Chicago Bears. Chicago Bears. 7. player. 57

After such a stacked defensive group in 2018, the Bears didn’t see quite as much success in 2019. They weren’t in the top five in sacks and ranked in the bottom half of the league when it came to turnovers. That’s a huge drop-off for a team that was looking like a Super Bowl caliber defense two years ago.

They lost Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Leonard Floyd and Prince Amukamara this offseason, but added Robert Quinn in free agency, who will be a big time help up front.

Chicago still has a lot of their really talented players returning, which helps them and keeps them this high on the list despite not being that same smothering defense from 2018. Khalil Mack is obviously the biggest name, but the Bears also have Eddie Jackson, Danny Trevathan and Kyle Fuller. Akiem Hicks also returned for 2020.

Don’t get it twisted, the Bears defense isn’t that same unit from two years ago, but they’re still a good unit and can be worthy of a mid to late round pick in your fantasy draft.
