Fantasy Football: Top 15 defenses/special teams to target in 2020
Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 13: Rams
The Rams are an intriguing defensive unit because they can either be really good or really frustrating. They have the potential to be a top five (yes, top five) defense if all goes according to plan.
The downside, however, is that they also have a chance of being incredibly disappointing, so that’s why they’re ranked this low.
On the one hand, Los Angeles returns Aaron Donald, who is not only one of the best defensive players in the league, but one of the best players PERIOD. He’s a freak of nature and can take over games, even on defense. He’ll get you the sacks your fantasy team needs.
They’ll also have Jalen Ramsey on their roster, who they traded for at the tail end of the 2019 season. Ramsey is fantastic and should add more takeaways for the Rams.
On the other hand, the Rams lost Cory Littleton, Dante Fowler and Eric Weddle this offseason and those are going to be big losses for them. This is a defense that provides high risk, but high reward and they should be available late in your draft.
