Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 4: Ravens

D/ST. Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore Ravens. 4. player. 26.

While the Ravens didn’t have a top notch defense last year, they were still very good and they got better this offseason. They added Derek Wolfe and Calais Campbell to their unit and also took Patrick Queen with their first round pick.

The Ravens were one of the top scoring defensive teams last year and while they did lose some big names (Brandon Carr and Michael Pierce), those names mentioned above should more than make up for the losses.

Throw in that Baltimore already has names like Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters in their secondary and this will continue to be a defense on the rise. They had the offense to take them to a 14-2 record and their defense was pretty good in that run. This time around, they’ll be a bigger storyline for the Ravens.

Look to add the Ravens in as early as the sixth round or whenever the run on defenses begins.
