Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 6: Saints

6. player. 15. . D/ST. New Orleans Saints. New Orleans Saints

The Saints’ defense has risen to the top after being really bad for several years. They were third in the NFL in sacks last year with 51 and were tied for tenth in the league in takeaways.

New Orleans is once again a top defensive unit to add to your fantasy team and despite losing Vonn Bell, Eli Apple and A.J. Klein in free agency, they’ve added good talent in place of all three of those players. Malcolm JenkinsJanoris Jenkins and Alex Anzalone joined the team in free agency.

The Saints already have a solid defense with Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Williams and Sheldon Rankins returning for the 2020 season and this is most definitely a starting unit for any fantasy team.

The Saints need to be on your radar as soon as you notice a run on defenses beginning. Otherwise, look to grab them in the sixth or seventh round to ensure you get a solid defense for your team.
