Reasons Cowherd doesn’t believe in KC Chiefs: Number 5 – Winning the Super Bowl is hard

"“You do get that this winning the Super Bowl thing is hard?”"

Rebuttal:

Winning the Super Bowl is hard, thank you Captain Obvious.

Yes, he is absolutely right, winning the Super Bowl is hard, which is why the Chiefs trailed in those playoff games. The playoffs are hard and it is hard to beat good football teams, but the Chiefs did it.

I talked earlier about how Brady used to be that quarterback that could put a team of nobodies on his back and go win it all, but when the chips are down and so are the Chiefs, Patrick puts a team of not nobodies, but really good players on his back and they go and win the game.

Cowherd wants to bring up the Chiefs being behind the Titans in the AFC Championship Game, but he also wants to bring up Jackson being a problem for the Chiefs. Well, did Jackson beat the Titans in the Divisional Round?

No, he did not. The Titans were beating KC in the AFC Championship Game, by a quarterback in his second year starting, and a Chiefs defense that is on the rebound and still improving.

There is no reason in the world to believe the Chiefs will not continue to improve and get even better. We have yet to see the best version of Mahomes and the Chiefs, and still the version we have seen now just had three amazing come-from-behind victories and won Super Bowl LIV.
