Reasons KC Chiefs shouldn’t fear Broncos in 2020 – Number 2: Uneven Offenses

While the Broncos’ offense should be better in 2020, the truth is that they’re unproven to this point. A lot of their “scary” new talent haven’t even played a single NFL snap yet and it’s a lot to ask of that young group to really step up and carry the team.

Jerry Jeudy was great at Alabama and he’ll likely be a nice WR2 behind Courtland Sutton, but crazier things have happened in the NFL. He did battle injuries while in college and that could be something that comes back to bite the Broncos.

In 2019, the Chiefs finished fifth in total offense while the Broncos finished the season 28th. That’s a HUGE difference to make up and Denver is relying on rookies and young players to try and close the gap.

Throw in that the Chiefs didn’t lose any key offensive playmakers and it’s still very likely that the Chiefs’ offense is going to be head and shoulders better than Denver’s offense, even with the new faces.
