The Broncos are going to get hyped up this offseason, but the KC Chiefs are still the best in the AFC West.

One thing was crystal clear this offseason and that was that the other three teams in the AFC West were doing all they could to try and match the Kansas City Chiefs on offense. One such team who clearly was making an effort to go blow for blow with the reigning Super Bowl champs was the Denver Broncos, who added A LOT of offensive weapons in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Broncos will receive a lot of hype this offseason because of those weapons (Jerry Jeudy was a downright steal for them at pick number 15) and Chiefs fans should prepare themselves for having to hear about how great Denver will be in 2020.

While Denver is going to be hyped up, here are some reasons why the KC Chiefs shouldn’t fear the Broncos in 2020.

Reasons KC Chiefs shouldn’t fear Broncos in 2020 – Number 3: Scoreboard

The most obvious reason why the Kansas City Chiefs shouldn’t be afraid of Denver in 2020 is simple – They’ve straight up owned the Broncos. Kansas City has won the last nine games against their AFC West foe, which dates back to the back half of the 2015 season.

The last time the Broncos beat KC was in week two of 2015 when they had five turnovers but were able to beat the Chiefs in the final seconds. In the second game of the season, Kansas City was on a hot streak, finishing the regular season with ten straight wins and they schooled the Broncos IN Denver in that late season battle.

Since then, it’s been all Kansas City and some games haven’t even been close. They’re clearly in Denver’s head and it’s shown over the years.

So yes, while it seems like an obvious answer, a reason why the Chiefs shouldn’t fear the Broncos is because they’ve had no problem with them since 2015.
