KC Chiefs who deserved to be on Madden 21 cover – Number 3: Tyreek Hill

Fewer players have been more pivotal to the success of the Kansas City Chiefs than Tyreek Hill, also known as Cheetah for his blazing speed.

From catching a 44-yard pass from Mahomes on 3rd and 15 to orchestrate what would be a Super Bowl winning final seven minutes, to his ability to leave any defensive back in his dust, Hill has firmly cemented himself as one of the best, if not the best, wide receivers in football today.

Despite receiving an injury in the first game of the 2019 season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hill still managed to put together a rather impressive highlight real. In his return game against the Houston Texans, even though he was coming off of injury, he caught five passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

In a week nine victory over the Vikings, even without his star quarterback feeding him the ball due to Mahomes’ own injury, Hill still racked up six catches for 140 yards in a touchdown, and the very next week against the Tennessee Titans, Hill finished with 11 grabs for 157 yards and a touchdown.

During the aforementioned Super Bowl victory, Hill nabbed nine passes for 105 yards. His overall 2019 stats were 58 receptions for 860 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns, and these numbers would no doubt had been inflated had Hill not missed a good chunk of games at the beginning of the season.

Hill is right up there with Odell Beckham Jr. as the best wide receiver in the league, and OBJ has already graced the cover of the legendary video game. OBJ honestly didn’t have such a hot season in 2019, so Hill should have been a strong candidate for the cover athlete of Madden 21.
