LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: AMIK ROBERTSON (ROUND 4, PICK 139)

The Raiders had some good picks, but their most impressive selection was actually their final pick of the 2020 NFL Draft and that was Amik Robertson in the fourth round. Robertson was a potential Day 2 talent at the cornerback spot and the Raiders nabbing him in the fourth round was a nice value pick.

Part of why I’m scared of Robertson being a member of the Las Vegas Raiders is that one pick prior to them selecting him, the KC Chiefs also took a defensive back out of Louisiana Tech in L’Jarius Sneed. Robertson had been someone who I was hoping the Chiefs would take in the third round, so them passing on him and the Raiders taking him one pick later was one of the worst case scenarios.

Robertson might not be a day one starter for the Raiders, but he’s going to be a factor for them in their secondary and will prove to be a steal in this year’s draft.

If Robertson reaches his full potential, this will be an amazing pick by the Raiders years down the road and one that Chiefs fans might be kicking themselves for (assuming Sneed doesn’t pan out).
