The KC Chiefs ended the 2020 NFL Draft with seven total picks. A theme of the draft was that the other three teams in the division made it a point to add firepower to keep up with Kansas City.

After the 2020 NFL Draft wrapped up, a lot of people were crowning teams like the Broncos for the way they drafted. While the Broncos did add some weapons, the Kansas City Chiefs are still far and away the best team in the division and it isn’t close.

With the draft a few weeks in the books, who was each team in the AFC West’s best selection in the 2020 NFL Draft?

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS: KENNETH MURRAY (ROUND 1, PICK 23)

After taking Justin Herbert with the sixth overall pick, the Chargers traded into the first round and grabbed Kenneth Murray with the 23rd pick in the draft. Murray provides the Chargers with a sideline to sideline linebacker that so many teams covet and while that won’t be enough to slow the Chiefs offense down, it’s still a darn good pick by the Chargers.

The rest of the Chargers’ draft wasn’t all that impressive, so Murray was the no brainer best pick for the Bolts. Trading into the first round to grab Murray was a good move by Los Angeles and he’s without a doubt their best draft pick in 2020.
