NUMBER TWO: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (WEEK 5)

The KC Chiefs will face the newly branded Las Vegas Raiders for the first time in week five of the 2020 season. While the Raiders have added some playmakers this offseason, they’re still the Raiders and have yet to win at Arrowhead since Derek Carr has been their starting quarterback.

Some might think he’s due for a win there, but he hasn’t come anywhere close to getting a win at Arrowhead. The last time these two teams met in Kansas City, it was a 40-0 game until the final few minutes when the Raiders finally found the end zone.

The Raiders might be rebranded as the Las Vegas Raiders, but they’re still the same Raiders we’ve watched over the years. Carr struggles at Arrowhead and while Marcus Mariota is also someone who could be taking the snaps in 2020, the Chiefs should be able to win this one against their division rivals.

NUMBER ONE: NEW YORK JETS (WEEK 8)

Everyone keeps waiting for the season the Jets are going to turn things around. Maybe it’ll be in 2020, but as of now, this game looks to be the easiest on the schedule this season.

The Jets really haven’t brought in anyone who is a big time playmaker, plus they lost their best wide receiver with Robby Anderson leaving this offseason. They did draft an offensive lineman in the first round to help protect their 2018 first round quarterback, but skill player wise, the Jets don’t have enough to match that of the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense.

Sam Darnold has shown improvements, but he’s still susceptible to major mistakes and  at one point last year was apparently “seeing ghosts” on Monday Night Football. He might make some plays against the Chiefs, but when the game gets tight, the defense will step up and force him into a bad throw.

Anything can happen on any given Sunday, but the Chiefs’ easiest game in 2020 should be against the Jets in week eight.
