The path to repeat as Super Bowl champions is set for the Kansas City Chiefs. What are the easiest games for them in the 2020 season?

We already took a look at the five toughest games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, so naturally it’s now time to look at the five easiest games on the regular season schedule. It’s worth noting that even though these made the list of easiest games, no game in the NFL is easy even when you’re the reigning Super Bowl champs.

The home slate for the Chiefs is less than stellar with the typical AFC West rivals coming to town along with the Jets, Patriots, Falcons, Panthers, and Texans. We already know that the Texans are the lucky team who get to open the season against Kansas City, but the rest of that group isn’t all that intimidating. That being said, upsets can happen anytime in the league, and that’s why they play the games!

So, without further ado, let’s check out the five easiest games on the 2020 schedule!

NUMBER FIVE: AT LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (WEEK 2)

The Chargers put up a fight in both of their match-ups against the Chiefs in 2019, but when it came down to it, they couldn’t quite find a way to beat the eventual Super Bowl champions. This year it’ll be a whole new look for the Bolts, as their starting quarterback for 14 years is off to Indianapolis now.

That paves the way for Tyrod Taylor – perennial backup – to drive the car until rookie first rounder Justin Herbert is ready to be handed the keys. Taylor is a nice player and the Chargers have a good defense, but this game – despite being a “home” game for them – could end up being all red in the stands (assuming fans are allowed to attend by then).

KC opens their season on a Thursday night and then gets ten days of rest before traveling to the west coast to play the Chargers in their new stadium. Los Angeles is a strange team to predict this year, but this should be one of the Chiefs’ easiest games.
