NUMBER 4 – KENNETH MURRAY (CHARGERS LINEBACKER)

4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Linebacker. Oklahoma. Kenneth Murray. 13

Kenneth Murray is the only Charger to make this least and in all honesty – They didn’t have a super impressive draft (but we really won’t know that until four or five years from now). Justin Herbert isn’t appearing on here because he isn’t going to start right away and even if he does, he will have his fair share of rookie moments.

Murray was linked to Kansas City throughout the 2020 NFL Draft lead-up and perhaps if LA hadn’t traded into the first round to nab him, the Chiefs might have taken him at 32 (or maybe Patrick Queen would have still been available – Sigh). Regardless, he ended up as a Charger and gives them a sideline to sideline linebacker that the Chiefs have been craving since Derrick Johnson was released.

The Chargers already have a good defense and Murray is going to make them even tougher. Despite LA only winning five games last year, they gave Kansas City everything they could handle in both of their games and now Murray could be someone who gives them trouble.

NUMBER 3 – K.J. HAMLER (BRONCOS WIDE RECEIVER)

K.J. Hamler. 45. Penn State. 3. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver

The Broncos really went offensive heavy in this draft and who can blame them? After getting swept by Kansas City in each of the last four seasons, Denver needs to attempt whatever they can to try and take a game from the Chiefs.

Their second pick in the 2020 NFL Draft was also the second wide receiver they took and his name is K.J. Hamler. It was a little surprising that the Broncos went with yet another receiver here considering they took one in the first round and still have Courtland Sutton, but hey – Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Hamler had 56 receptions for 904 yards and eight touchdowns with Penn State in 2019 and more than likely will be the third receiver on their depth chart. While this pick was surprising by Denver, they’ve shown they’re trying to get better on offense and if Hamler pans out, more power to them.
