KC Chiefs News: Chiefs vs Buccaneers now must-see game in 2020
KC Chiefs news mostly fixates around the draft, but in the NFL it’s all about how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new tight end and his name is Rob Gronkowski. The Chiefs and Bucs face each other in 2020.
Even with the 2020 NFL Draft beginning on Thursday, the biggest news in the NFL right now revolves around the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and how they acquired Rob Gronkowski via a trade with the New England Patriots. Why is this relevant for the Kansas City Chiefs?
Well – The Chiefs face the Bucs in 2020.
We don’t know when certain games take place in 2020 yet, but we do know who the Chiefs are playing and with the NFC South on their schedule, that means a date with the Bucs is coming up. The Chiefs will play in Tampa and it’d be shocking if this game wasn’t featured in primetime in some capacity. It screams Sunday Night Football to me, but it could also fall on Monday night or be a late Sunday afternoon game.
The Bucs haven’t been relevant in a long time and having both Tom Brady and now his favorite tight end target back in his offense should give them a special season. How can the NFL not have Brady’s Bucs and Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs against each other in primetime?
The answer is they can’t.

"While this is fun to speculate and discuss, the KC Chiefs don’t need to make this move. Their offense is already one of the most explosive in the league and they’ve brought everyone back from the Super Bowl winning team."

While there’s still a possibility the 2020 season is shortened or – worse yet – doesn’t occur at all, if it goes along without a hitch, the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has to be in primetime because it’s essentially going to be them against the Patriots and those games brought a lot of drama.
The KC Chiefs should rightfully be Super Bowl favorites in 2020 and beyond, but the Bucs have thrown their hat into the ring and could be who the Chiefs face in the big game .
